We envision the Bing Arts Center as a place which will enable our citizens of all ages, ethnic groups, genders, orientation, and economic status to gather, experience and build the unifying bonds of civilization and community that active participation in the arts can and will provide.

The Bing Arts Center is a project of the "X" Main Street Corporation, a non-profit, volunteer driven organization working to revitalize Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood. The corporation’s Bing Arts Center project is intended to provide greater community arts accessibility, serving as a catalyst for economic and cultural development. This strategy will contribute to the improvement of quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors of the neighborhood and the City of Springfield.
