The Bing Arts Center is a multi-use Community Arts Center offering: Musical Performances, Film Screenings, Art Exhibitions & Classes.

Created from the former Bing Theater, the Bing Arts Center now provides the Springfield area with a vibrant alternative visual and performing arts space. Located at 716 Sumner Avenue, it is very visible and easy to reach for arts creators and patrons alike. The galleries provide convenient exhibition space for established and emerging artists to display their work. Musical performers from across the nation and around the world enjoy the warm and friendly venue and appreciate the fact that everyone is welcome. Many children attend performances with their parents and friends, in many cases experiencing live music for the very first time! Children’s theater and studio art classes are offered. Stimulating motion picture programming includes screenings and discussions by independent filmmakers.

The Bing Arts Center is a project of the "X" Main Street Corporation, a non-profit, volunteer driven organization working to revitalize Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood through creativity and imagination. The Bing plays a strong role in the improvement of quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors and serves as a catalyst for economic and cultural development. Please help us continue our efforts to improve arts accessibility in Springfield!
