The Center for EcoTechnology helps people and businesses in Massachusetts save energy and reduce waste. We make green make sense.

We make green make sense.

The Center for EcoTechnology helps people and businesses in Massachusetts save energy and reduce waste. For more than 35 years, we’ve offered proven advice and resources to save you money, make you more comfortable at home, and help your business perform better. In that time, you and our hundreds of partners have helped make Western Massachusetts a greener, healthier place to live and work.

Our “Go Green” Goal

Over the next three years, we will help 80,000 people take green actions to reduce their environmental impact in homes and businesses. Together we will reduce our carbon emissions equal to taking 40,000 homes off the grid for one year, a huge environmental benefit to our region. These actions will also save $100,000,000 in energy and waste costs over their lifetime.

Achieving our Goal: People Reaching People

Our staff and team of EcoFellows—young, passionate environmental professionals—fan out across the Pioneer Valley to bring information on energy efficiency, recycling, composting and renewable energy opportunities to residents and businesses.

We work with dozens of partners to educate people to take action – for example, helping residents insulate their homes or businesses send food waste to a compost facility.

But to reach our goal, we need to connect with many more people. We need your help to do this.

Why your donation is so important:

  • $50 supports a clean energy presentation in a local community.
  • $100 funds a hands-on home composting workshop.
  • $250 enables us to directly connect 20 homeowners with the expertise and resources they need to make their homes energy efficient.
  • $1,000 helps fund one awesome EcoFellows for a month. With your help, they’ll be able to educate many more people at events around the Valley.

Your contribution helps make our community a better place to live and work. Thank you.
