Center for New Americans is an education and resource center for immigrants in W. Mass. We teach English and provide free support services.
Imagine leaving family and friends behind and moving to a new community in the U.S. Imagine how lonely and isolated you feel ... until you can speak English. Then, doors begin to open.
Center for New Americans (CNA) has been welcoming and serving immigrants in W. Mass for over 20 years.
We offer a spectrum of classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from beginner to high intermediate.
We also offer technology instruction, citizenship classes, and "Bridges" classes (for instance, Bridges to Healthcare and Bridges to Manufacturing), which introduce workplace vocabulary and protocols.
All classes are free.
CNA offers a range of citizenship and immigration services, education and career advising, and referrals to healthcare, housing, and other resources.
Once they can speak English, our students secure better jobs, obtain driver's licenses, start their own businesses, purchase a house, help children in school.
Thank you for joining us in welcoming newcomers.
