Unity Festival Concert - October 18, 2014

The Children's Chorus is Springfield's only city-wide youth chorus, bringing together our youth to serve as ambassadors through song.

Built on the model of the highly successful Boston and Chicago children's choruses, the Children's Chorus of Springfield (CCS) is a partner and leader in the Springfield youth arts movement.

We have received a $5,000 matching challenge grant! Please help us receive this grant and double your donation by helping us reach and go beyond this goal!

The Chorus seeks to create an environment that fosters the development of qualities that will not only help singers become successful in music, but in life. CCS strives to be an ambassadorial group of children whose artistry and enthusiasm can show the synergy of Springfield's many cultural heritages and the bright future the city has in its children.

CCS has performed with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra four times. The Chorus has also performed at the Eric Carle Museum, the Sheraton, the MassMutual Center, Providence Place, Hoop City Jazz Festival, and the Log Cabin.

Donations are needed for the purchase of music and rehearsal supplies, busing for field trips, concert needs such as risers and attire, and general operating expenses.

All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
