The Dakin Humane Society provides shelter, education, advocacy, and assistance for animals and people in need.
At Dakin Humane Society, we believe that every homeless animal deserves a second chance. To each of these individual cats, dogs, rabbits or birds, the simple act of rescue that takes them from homelessness to home is lifesaving.
But rescuing one animal does not stop the next from becoming homeless. This is why Dakin has a long commitment to ending animal homelessness where it starts.
Dakin's renowned prevention programs deliver pet food to people in need, offer sliding scale behavior and training services, and provide more than 11,500 free or low-cost surgeries each year through the efforts of Dakin's Community Spay/Neuter Clinic.
Your support makes this work possible.
Dakin is a private, non-profit organization serving the communities of the Pioneer Valley and beyond.
We do not receive any government funding nor are we funded or operated by any national humane organization. We rely solely on contributions from individuals who care about animals to bring our services to the community.
Please, give generously.
