Working in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger.

Since 1984, FCCMP has been working with volunteers to feed the hungry in our community. Operating three meal sites that serve five nutritious meals each week, our program served 20,733 free meals in 2013.

FCCMP also operates two food pantries: one on the campus of GCC for students and their families, and one in Orange for residents of Franklin County and the surrounding area. Last year we distributed food to 5,410 Franklin County/North Quabbin residents; enough to provide each family with 3-5 days of food. As funding programs are cut, a greater demand is placed on programs such as ours to provide food assistance to people in need.

Working families, multi-generational families, single parent families, our senior citizens, our veterans, and our community at large - all find us an open, welcoming, supportive program that can help them fill the hunger gap.

Our clients feel fortunate to visit our food sites, WE feel fortunate to have found YOU, our loyal and generous donors. Your support will allow us to continue to meet the need of our hungry neighbors, neighbors whose numbers continue to grow each week.

*A donation of $25 will help us obtain 125 pounds of fresh produce.

*A donation of $50 will help us obtain 250 pounds of food to help stock our pantry shelves (it typically takes 2,200 pounds of food each week for us to have sufficient food on hand to distribute).

FCCMP is funded largely by the generosity of neighbors helping neighbors. Please reach out your hand to help our neighbors in need by making a donation to our program.
