At any given point in time, approximately 10% of girls are Girl Scouts. The time they spend in Girl Scouts today is preparing them for the future. Did you know 80% of woman business owners, 69% of female U.S. Senators, 67% of the female members of the House of Representatives, and nearly every female astronaut who flew into space were Girl Scouts? Yet programs for girls receive less than 8% of philanthropic dollars. It's time to start supporting girls so that they can become the leaders the world needs.
