We build community and nurture wellness through physical, intellectual, social and spiritual means guided by Jewish values and culture.
Thank you for visiting the Springfield JCC's ValleyGives page. There are many stories that illustrate how your generosity supports the programs of the Springfield JCC.
At the Springfield Jewish Community Center, our doors are open to everyone.
We open our doors to more than 350 families who need scholarship assistance for membership, day camp experience, and preschool. The JCC Kehillah program serves more than 600 individuals with special needs and enables dozens of families to experience milestones they never imagined possible.
The Springfield JCC's Early Learning Center is the only preschool in the U.S. to integrate the "Leader In Me" program (based on Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People") and "An Ethical Start" into its curriculum.
The Early Learning Center believes children should be at the heart of the learning environment. We also believe in teaching the whole child. While our academics are stellar, the development of leadership skills and social consciousness is part of each child's everyday school experience. More than $100,000 in scholarship is provided to enable those who desire and would not otherwise be able, to participate in this important developmental program.
We also reach out to senior adults in need of transportation, hot kosher meals, and social opportunities. Nearly 200 trips per month are made to assist seniors JCC meals programs, shopping and doctors appointments.
Your generosity helps keep our doors open to people in need of these special services. Please help ensure these much-needed programs will continue.
