From a parent:
"Multi-Arts provides an art experience full of love of art and love of children. It is a program with a lot of heart, where artists bring their passion and joy to their teaching.
We were most impressed that the instructors value the creative process and engaged children in their own art projects. Our children not only learned to do art, they had a chance to experience being artists.”
Projects We Would Love to Become Successful:
1. Bonding Families Through the Arts:
This will be a workshops offered in 5 different towns designed for families. Under the guidance of Multi-Arts’ faculty, families can use specially designed art activities to create connections between parents/guardians and children. Families can choose to collaborate on an art project, create a family movie, or write an illustrated book. Each project will express ideas, feelings, and values of each member, and will be a testimony of what it is important for each family. These structured activities will allow families to collaborate and bond while creating a beautiful piece of original art, and will connect families within the community. Workshops will be offered in: Amherst, Hadley, Belchertown, Northampton, Holyoke and Easthampton.
2. Children's Art Exhibition at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield:
The largest exhibition Multi-Arts has presented in the Valley. Featuring 50 pieces of gorgeous artwork, created by children under the guidance of our faculty. The exhibition will be on display for over 3 month at Bay State Hospital. It will undoubtedly bring joy, hope and comfort to patients, families, doctors, staff and visitors who visit the hospital.
