NEBA helps individuals with disabilities gain meaningful employment and experience life more fully.
Established in 1983, NEBA is a nonprofit organization known nationally and internationally for its work in supported employment as well as supporting the integration needs and rights of people with disabilities. We are the recipient of many awards, including Best Practice from the national Association for Persons in Supported Employment. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals, and currently serve more than 400 people annually through employment, self-employment, skill-building, and community inclusion programs. Individuals served have a myriad of skills, abilities and interests and are between the ages of 15 and 68.
NEBA has designed several specialized programs to meet the unique needs of the individuals we serve. These programs include:
Employment Services: A program uniquely designed to assist individuals identify career
interests, get employed & establish careers.
Business Development Center:
New England Business Associates provides a supported self-employment program for individuals who have a wide range of social challenges. This is an individualized approach to writing a SCORE based business plan that can be used by a business to obtain a loan, expand its markets or develop a new concept. The business plan includes the necessary financial projections, cash flow analysis and profit and loss information needed by any successful business. All sessions are one on one over a series of weekly meetings.
