Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School (PVCICS) is a K-9 public charter school. It is the only Chinese language immersion school in Western Massachusetts. Our 290 students live primarily on Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties and come from such towns ranging from Amherst, Northampton, South Hadley, and Easthampton to Greenfield, Springfield, Buckland, and Athol.

The children of PVCICS are dreaming of a new playground. They would like a safe and fun place to play with their friends, and where families can gather for outdoor, healthy activities. Playgrounds demonstrate that exercise can be fun and encourage active play.

Phase I of our PVCICS playground was successfully installed in 2010. We now are ready to move forward with Phase II of the playground installation.

Phase II will involve adding playground equipment to accommodate our growing student population. We are hoping to add a covered slide, climbing structure, tetherball, another bench, shade, and ground cover.

A playground provides a safe and challenging place for children (and our community) to grow! We would like to raise $20,000. We need your financial support to make their dreams come true. Xie xie!
