Creating memorable experiences for schoolchildren and families by bringing science, history, and art to life.

Need help with online giving? We're here for you! Museum staff will be available on Valley Gives Day (December 12) at 413.263.6800, ext. 599.

The Springfield Museums, located in the heart of downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, is comprised of four world-class museums: the Michele & Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts, the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, the Springfield Science Museum and the Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History. The Museums Association is proud to be home to the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden, a series of full–scale bronze sculptures of Dr. Seuss's whimsical creations, honoring the birthplace of Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss.

Each museum is different and there is plenty to see, experience, and appreciate all in one day! Along with our permanent collections and galleries, we host major traveling art, history and science exhibitions and a variety of family and adult programming. You'll always find something new!
