Stavros Home Sweet Home Program builds ramps for people with disabilities with low income in the Pioneer Valley.

Health Insurance DOES NOT cover ramps or any other home modification, leaving people with disabilities who use a wheelchair or walker unable to leave their homes for everyday activities like work, visits to the doctors or in emergencies.

Through the Stavros Home Sweet Home Program we provide low cost or no cost ramps to the many people with disabilities in the area who are in need of safe accessible ramps to their homes. Home Sweet Home is able to get these ramps built thanks to donations of time, talent and money.

Although we have completed over 300 ramps in five years the need is still there and we are continuously looking for donations to buy materials and volunteers to complete the ramps.

Recently we received an email from a person with a disability who received a ramp. It simply said:"WOHOO! I can get out!" Please help us give that feeling to someone else.
