Working in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger.

FCCMP works with more than 40 community volunteer groups to feed hungry Franklin County people - families, seniors, veterans, individuals. In 2013 our program served 20,733 free meals in Greenfield, Turners Falls and Orange to residents of Franklin County and neighboring regions.

Our Greenfield Community College Food Pantry provided more than 1,200 financial aid students and their families with 3-5 days of food. Our Franklin County Food Pantry in Orange provided 3-5 days of food to more than 15,000 of our qualifying hungry neighbors.

Funding programs continue to be cut which places a greater demand on programs such as ours to provide food assistance to people in need.

Working families, multi-generational households, single parenthouseholds, our senior citizens, our veterans, our homeless, our neighbors struggling with emotional or physical challenges, and our community at large - all find us an open, welcoming, supportive program that helps them fill the hunger gap.

Our clients feel fortunate to visit our food sites, WE feel fortunate to have found YOU, our loyal and generous donors. Your support will allow us to continue to meet the need of our hungry neighbors, neighbors whose numbers continue to grow each week.

*A donation of $25 will help us obtain 125 pounds of fresh produce for distribution.

*A donation of $50 will help us obtain 250 pounds of food to help stock our pantry shelves (it typically takes 2,500 pounds of food each week for us to have sufficient food on hand to distribute).

*A donation of $100 will help provide the evening meal at one of our mealsites.

FCCMP is funded largely by the generosity of neighbors helping neighbors. Please reach out your hand to help our neighbors in need by making a donation to our program.
